It is a highly ergonomic and comfortable chair. In 1945 Yngve Ekstrom and his brother Jerker founded the furniture line Swedese, and shortly after, the Lamino Chair became an iconic part of that line. Ekstrom's pieces have been exhibited in Amsterdam, Vienna, Berlin, Paris, Munich and Belgrade and are represented in many modern permanent collections, including the Victoria & Albert Museum, London and Nationalmuseum in Stockholm. Turns out my little chair is designed by Yngve Ekstrom, and made in Sweden in the late 1950s.
